Position Overview
\n
Seeking a hands-on Database / Data Architect to help design and govern enterprise data platforms supporting transactional, operational, and analytical workloads. This role will partner with application teams to define data architecture, select the right database technologies, and support cloud modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Design enterprise database and data platform solutions
- Develop logical and physical data models
- Guide database and data platform selection decisions
- Partner with application, engineering, and architecture teams
- Support data warehousing, Lakehouse, and cloud initiatives
- Define standards for performance, scalability, availability, and governance
- Drive modernization and cloud adoption efforts

Qualifications/Experience
\n
- \n
- 10+ years of Database Architecture and/or Data Architecture experience
- Strong data modeling experience
- Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse architectures
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, Snowflake, or similar platforms
- AWS cloud data platform experience
- Strong architecture and consulting skills
- Experience supporting performance, scalability, and high-availability solutions
