Griffen Plumbing and Heating was founded in 1982 in Elkhart, Indiana. The company has expanded from two service technicians to over 50 full-time employees. We provide a wide range of services including preventative maintenance, air compressor services, design build, plumbing, boiler and chiller services. Griffen Plumbing & Heating emphasizes a "customer first" philosophy and invests in ongoing training and education for our technicians, including a five-year apprenticeship and various certifications such as medical gas, backflow prevention, CFC refrigerant, and welding.
Position Overview:
Griffen Plumbing & Heating is seeking a full-time Information Technology Specialist to support the organization's technology systems, equipment, and users while helping drive efficient and secure business operations.
Responsibilities:
▪ Set up new user workstations with applicable software and connect to local area network.
▪ Set up and troubleshoot company cell phones.
▪ Set up and troubleshooting company iPads. Assist users who are having issues with company provided iPads.
▪ Add and disable users on the local area network
▪ Software/Hardware duties for Onboarding/Offboarding employees.
▪ Provide password resets for users as needed.
▪ Troubleshoot user-related email issues.
▪ Troubleshoot user-related printing issues.
▪ Maintain and administer the inventory management system tracking incoming and outgoing inventory.
▪ Other tasks as requested by manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
1 years' experience in accounts payable or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong technical aptitude and interest in computer hardware, networking, mobile devices, and connected technologies, including Internet of Things (IoT) systems.
- Verbal & written communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
- Ability to work as a team player
Salary Range - $60k-65k
