We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud and .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud computing, and leadership. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications, as well as leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of cloud-based applications using .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing complex applications
- Experience in C#, .NET, API development, and SQL
- Experience with cloud-first architectures and related Azure services, e.g. Container Apps, API Management / App Gateway, Key Vault, App Services, Logic Apps, SQL MI
- Familiarity with modern cloud-native patterns principles, e.g. Twelve-Factor Apps, Service Oriented Architectures / microservices / REST, DevOps, Continuous Deployment, and Site Reliability Engineering
- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code patterns and related technologies e.g. Bicep, ARM, Terraform
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience acting as a technical leader and mentor to other software engineers or developers.
- Experience working on agile teams and release trains, and knowledge of SAFe, is preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with Angular is a plus
- Property Casualty Insurance experience is a plus
