This role focuses on maintaining building systems and infrastructure in a Bellevue facility, with a particular emphasis on plumbing and general facilities upkeep. You will ensure that the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained by performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across a variety of building systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks in a Bellevue-based facility, including inspection, repair, and upkeep of building systems.
- Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs, such as addressing leaks, clogs, and fixture issues, to ensure reliable and safe operation of water and drainage systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on facilities equipment and systems to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Document work performed, including repairs and maintenance activities, and communicate status updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and facility staff to support overall building operations and resolve issues efficiently.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a facilities maintenance technician or in a closely related maintenance role.
- Hands-on plumbing experience, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform general building maintenance tasks such as basic repairs, adjustments, and inspections.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues in building systems quickly and accurately.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective communication skills to clearly describe issues, solutions, and progress to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in facilities maintenance within a commercial or similar environment.
- Familiarity with basic building systems such as plumbing, fixtures, and general facility infrastructure.
- Comfort working in a structured environment with established processes and maintenance routines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, equipment, and maintenance practices as needed.

Work Environment
This position is based on-site in Bellevue within a facilities environment that requires hands-on work with building systems, particularly plumbing and general maintenance. The workday typically follows a structured schedule aligned with facility operations. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
