Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to support and maintain enterprise applications. This role is responsible for quality assurance testing, production support, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support activities to ensure high system reliability, data integrity, and an exceptional user experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with manual testing, SQL, Jira/Xray, defect management, accessibility testing, and business support. Candidates with exposure to test automation methodologies are highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality assurance services across multiple application initiatives.
- Perform and lead functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Validate system functionality against business and technical requirements.
- Create complex test data to support testing efforts.
- Work closely with application teams and business stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Perform workflow analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards prior to deployment.
- Log, track, validate, and verify defects through resolution.
- Coordinate defect remediation efforts with technical teams.
- Support production issues and troubleshoot application-related problems.
- Communicate testing results, risks, and defect status to stakeholders.
- Manage and triage support tickets submitted by business users and escalated support channels.
- Work directly with business partners to understand and translate requirements into testing scenarios.
- Support application users by investigating issues and providing guidance as needed.
- Create use cases and test scenarios for UAT.
- Demonstrate application workflows to business users.
- Partner directly with UAT participants and provide testing support throughout the UAT process.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on manual QA testing experience.
- Experience creating test scripts, test cases, and test plans using software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with test execution, defect management, and test results communication.
- Experience performing functional and regression testing on enterprise applications.
- Experience logging, tracking, and verifying defects through resolution.
- Experience using Jira and Jira Xray for test management and defect tracking.
- Experience managing and triaging support tickets from business users and support channels.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including use case creation and workflow demonstrations.
- Experience working directly with business partners to gather and translate requirements.
- Strong SQL querying skills for testing, troubleshooting, and data validation.
- Experience performing accessibility testing and validating compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards.
- Exposure to automated testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
