JOB DESCRIPTION
A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a tech lead to join the team. The Tech Lead will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electric or LP/propane-powered forklifts and other material handling equipment. The technician should be highly proficient in either electric or LP equipment and capable of independently completing routine maintenance and basic-to-intermediate repairs.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Forklift certified
- Experience overseeing and completing work orders
- Experience leading a team
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electric or LP material handling equipment.
- Practical knowledge of electrical, LP, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience reading basic wiring diagrams and following service manuals.
- Ability to work independently on routine repairs.
- Must provide personal hand tools.
Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office.
- Able to lift or pull at least 75 pounds.
Compensation:
$30/hr to $32/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
