Job Description
Lead quality assurance efforts across dedicated, cross-functional, and distributed teams while supporting web applications, enterprise software, mobile applications, and API and backend systems. The QA Lead will guide testing strategy, coordinate execution, contribute to release decisions, and help advance the organization’s quality practices and engineering capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and quality strategies.
- Lead manual and automated testing across web, enterprise, mobile, API, and backend systems.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.
- Manage defect identification, tracking, prioritization, and resolution.
- Coordinate testing activities across dedicated, cross-functional, and distributed QA teams.
- Perform release validation and provide test sign-off, shared release approval, execution support, and release recommendations as appropriate.
- Track and communicate quality metrics to support informed release and process decisions.
- Drive continuous process improvement and support growth toward QA management, specialist automation leadership, test architecture, and engineering leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with test automation and manual testing.
- Proficiency in test case design and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with API testing.
- Strong analytical thinking and team leadership skills.
