Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician
Job Summary Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, motors, instrumentation, and electrical/mechanical systems.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and complete assigned work orders on time.
- Inspect and test equipment to identify problems and verify repairs.
- Assist with equipment changeovers and production line startups.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of parts.
- Follow all safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), GMP, food safety, and OSHA requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement and recommend ways to improve equipment reliability and processes.
Requirements
- Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical information.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours and work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights using proper safety equipment.
- Comfortable working around machinery, oils, greases, coolants, chemicals, heat, and vibration.
Payrate: 28.00/hr.
