Job DescriptionSalary:

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day activities performed in client facilities, both inert & non-inert confined space entries

Perform the work toward its projects goal of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Service

Perform work as required to maximize the quality of the Company while maintaining the specified expectations of the client

Ensure safe working environment while performing work in the clients facilities such as but not limited to opening man way trays, vacuuming catalyst, cleaning repo, loading catalyst, and closing man way trays

Team member for all rescue operations

Work in immediately dangerous to life and health confined space entry conditions

Operate and maintain all company owned or rented vehicles in a professional manner

Report any job scope changes in the vessel to the Superintendent

Ensure that all field work is done properly and safely

Maintain good communication with Supervisor while performing inert or non-inert jobs

Adhere to all Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements

Report any unusual findings

Load catalyst bed

Maintain all company owned and/or rental equipment to promote quality, professional appearance and reduce the frequency and magnitude of repairs. Keep all equipment clean; document/red tag damaged or broken equipment and tools for repair

Educate field personnel in the proper use, handling and operation of company owned and/or rented equipment

Assist with the cleaning and correct loading of equipment on trailers

Support the Supervisor and Superintendent by assisting in the development of customer expectations and timelines

Able to operate the essential equipment to descend in vessels and operate the retrieval devices

Check the depths and outages required while loading tubular vessels

Monitor the surrounding and the dangers associated with entering confined spaces

Mange cost control

Support the Supervisor & Superintendent by assisting in the development of customer expectations & timelines

Follow all Company Quality Control/Quality Assurance procedures/processes

Conduct all Company business in accordance with Company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings both internally and externally

Attend annual training as requested


Qualifications and Education Requirements

Knowledge of safe work practices and understanding of proper equipment handling/care procedures/policies. Abel to properly wear and maintain the Life Support System. Must be able to work in confined/claustrophobic conditions. Have at least 100 hours of helmet time. Have at least 3 different Employee Performance Appraisals from 3 different Supervisors. Must complete all Company and client required safety and craft training. Complete and pass the Company Inert Entry Assessment and Hands-on Testing. Demonstrate skills necessary to perform entries both non-inert and inert. Demonstrate organizational skills, problem solving, communication, leadership and motivational skills. The position of Tech A is a physically demanding job and may require, but not limited to the following activities: must be able to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, stand, sit, and lift more than 50 pounds. Must be First Aid & CPR trained.

The position Tech A reports directly to project Supervisor.
