TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Property Maintenance Technician with at least two years of maintenance, handyman, construction, remodeling, or equipment-repair experience.

If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, learning new skills, and having variety in your workday, this may be the position for you. You will help maintain commercial and residential properties while also assisting with vehicles, boats, trailers, recreational equipment, and special projects.

You do not need to be an expert in every trade. Training will be provided for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other unfamiliar tasks. We are looking for someone with broad mechanical aptitude, common sense, initiative, and a genuine willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs at commercial and residential properties
• Troubleshoot minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and building issues
• Complete drywall repair, painting, caulking, trim work, and minor carpentry
• Repair or replace doors, locks, fixtures, faucets, toilets, ceiling fans, switches, and outlets
• Assemble and install furniture, shelving, storage systems, equipment, and accessories
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine property inspections
• Assist with outdoor maintenance, pressure washing, landscaping, and drainage projects
• Troubleshoot and maintain vehicles, boats, jet skis, trailers, small engines, batteries, and pumps
• Safely tow, back, and maneuver boat, utility, and equipment trailers
• Research unfamiliar projects using manuals, diagrams, instructions, and online resources
• Purchase and track parts, materials, receipts, maintenance needs, and project progress
• Coordinate with contractors when licensed or specialized work is required
• Travel between properties and project locations as needed

What We’re Looking For

• At least two years of relevant hands-on experience
• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to meet background requirements
• Comfortable driving trucks and larger vehicles
• Experience towing and backing trailers
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to climb ladders, crawl through attics, and work indoors or outdoors
• Basic computer skills
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and trustworthy
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Willing to learn HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and equipment-related tasks

Mileage and approved vehicle expenses associated with traveling between work locations will be covered.
