Position Overview

- We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Business Configuration team, responsible for healthcare product configuration and benefit plan setup.
- This role requires expertise in configuring products within the Facets system and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of configuration requests.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with core claims administration systems, writing SQL queries, analyzing data, and troubleshooting configuration issues.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Configure various healthcare products using both the Product Key Sheet method and manual configuration.
- Ensure product configuration accuracy using tools for manual and automated product creation.
- Write SQL queries and extract data from databases to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration issues.
- Independently investigate and resolve product configuration questions and issues submitted to the production team.
- Collaborate with implementation managers, account managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate configuration processes.
- Manage production queues and work inventory while meeting established quality standards and turnaround times.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues and implement resolutions.
- Identify and recommend process and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
- Support management with training activities, special projects, issue resolution, and configuration-related subject matter expertise.

Basic Qualifications
\n

- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working with a core claims administration system.
- At least 2 years of experience writing SQL queries and exporting data from database tables into Excel for analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations.
- Understanding of claims adjudication processes, including member and provider reimbursements.
- Experience with the Facets platform, particularly Claims, Provider, Network, and Product/Benefit Configuration.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs.
