Facility Supervisor – Yakult USA (Georgia)
Yakult USA, the world’s leading probiotic drink manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Supervisor to join their new factory in White, Georgia (30184). This role is essential to maintaining efficient facility operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting a safe and compliant production environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000/year (Exempt)
- Shift Schedule: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, includes 1-hour unpaid lunch), Monday – Saturday (flexibility required)

Position Summary
The GA Facility Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily the facility equipment operation. This role involves the direct supervision and management of daily tasks within the facility department, which includes performing personnel evaluations, fostering employee development, managing attendance, and conducting safety training. The licenses for factory facilities are preferred. The supervisor oversees comprehensive inventory management—including while leading monthly physical inventory and ensuring readiness for audits by third-party organizations or regulatory bodies. Additionally, the supervisor coordinates with external vendors to maintain factory facilities and facility equipment, reporting any operational challenges directly to the GA Production Manager. This position is also responsible for executing payroll processing, attendance consolidation, and payroll timesheets management for department employees.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Food or Beverage industry.
- Certified Wastewater Industrial Operator or Class3+ Wastewater Operator is highly preferred.
- The licenses for factory facilities are preferred.
- Must have strong and effective leadership skills, and the ability to successfully manage a staff of 10+ employees.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Must have working knowledge of internet-based systems and Time & Attendance/Payroll systems (WMS/ERP/ADP etc.).
- Experience in training, handling people and resolving conflicts.
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision, and as part of a team as well.
- Able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be available to work any hours assigned, 5 days or more per week, Monday- Saturday, including early mornings and late nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervised 10+ employees and ensured compliance with safety, quality, sanitation, FDA, SQF, HACCP, and OSHA standards.
- Managed facility operations, equipment maintenance, and inspections to support efficient production.
- Improved operational processes and served as a liaison between management and employees.
- Verified timesheets and leave requests to ensure payroll accuracy and labor law compliance.
- Conducted employee coaching, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Enforced workplace safety policies, investigated incidents, and maintained audit-ready facilities.
- Perform Food Safety duties
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
