BG Staffing is actively seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Consultant for a thriving apartment community in Indianapolis, IN 46254. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and helping prospective residents find their next home.
We are looking to hire immediately and need someone who can step into the role with confidence and contribute to the success of the leasing team from day one. If you have apartment industry experience, strong leasing skills, and Yardi experience, we want to hear from you!
Position Summary
As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. You will be responsible for showcasing the community, processing applications, maintaining resident relations, and supporting the daily operations of the leasing office. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, sales-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and provide professional property tours
- Present leasing information and community features to prospective renters
- Process rental applications and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately
- Prepare lease agreements and maintain resident files
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
- Manage daily office communications and resident inquiries
- Assist with community marketing initiatives and outreach efforts
- Support the leasing team with occupancy and retention goals
- Maintain accurate records and data within property management systems
- Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for residents and prospects
- Assist with general office operations to maintain an efficient leasing process
Qualifications
- Previous apartment leasing experience required
- Yardi experience is REQUIRED
- Experience with property management software and basic computer applications
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
