Overview
The Clinical Technology Implementation Manager leads the end-to-end implementation of field-facing clinical technology, from discovery and training through go-live execution and support. This role coordinates on-site resources and partners with EHR implementation teams, help desk staff, and business partners to resolve issues quickly. The position ensures end users receive timely support so clinical services can continue without disruption. This role also oversees implementation activities, monitors go-live success, and supports continuous improvement of training and implementation processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage EHR implementations by coordinating resources, defining scope, and delivering projects on schedule.
- Supervise EHR implementation staff and oversee daily team activities and status reporting.
- Partner with IT leadership, project managers, and business stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and manage deliverables.
- Monitor go-live performance and key metrics to ensure successful implementation and post-go-live support.
- Gather end-user feedback and support ongoing improvements, enhancements, and training strategies.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivelent job experience.
Experience
- Management experience
- Experience in clinical setting preferred
- Experience in jails/prisons preferred
- 2+ years hand-on experience as an EHR end-user or supporting an EHR
Licenses/Certifications
- None required, although current state license with no restrictions preferred
