We are seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a luxury hotel in Miami. This role involves working closely with a security team to ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property during both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a Security Officer License (unarmed) and demonstrate strong observation and communication skills, providing excellent service while maintaining a secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance cameras and patrol hotel premises to prevent incidents
- Operate communication radios and access control systems to maintain secure entry points
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents in accordance with established protocols
- Interact frequently with hotel guests, providing assistance and ensuring a safe environment
- Work collaboratively as part of the hotel’s security team
- Document and report security incidents accurately using incident reporting software
Required Qualifications
- Valid Security Officer License (unarmed)
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in security services
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong observation and emergency response skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proficient in report writing
