Job DescriptionPosition: Leasing Specialist for The Edison Lofts - downtown Raleigh, NC

Role Overview

As a Leasing Specialist, your primary focus is to lease apartment-homes in a very competitive market. In addition, you will deliver exceptional customer service to meet the ongoing needs of current residents.

Competitive hourly rate + monthly commission + quarterly bonus + 20% rent discount (if needed) + company events + paid training and certifications + health/dental/vision/401K.

Most Important Responsibilities

• Build rapport with prospects to lease apartments in a competitive market.
• Manage the queue daily to follow up with any leads.
• Provide stellar customer service to our current residents.
• Plan social events for our residents to create a fun experience.
• Display professionalism and poise, even when things get difficult.
• Take ownership of issues and help problem-solve throughout the day.
• Understand our product in the market and be able to articulate its value.
• Collaborate with your team to satisfy the unique needs of prospects and residents.

Most Important Qualifications

• Leasing experience strongly preferred
• Must be willing to work 2-3 Saturdays per month (still enjoy 40 hours per week)
• Vehicle and driver's license
• Ability to "sell"/lease apartments in a competitive market
• Self-motivation and drive quick on your feet with a strong work ethic
• Market knowledge relative to Raleigh a plus
• People skills, ability to have conversations with prospects and listen to their real needs so you can build rapport and trust
• Charisma, must be likeable to prospects and residents.
• Empathy, relating to the customers and supporting them.
• Confidence, never let go of opportunities and stay positive.
