We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent resident relations, financial management, and property operations experience. Yardi experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations of the property
- Manage leasing, renewals, occupancy, and resident retention
- Maintain strong resident relationships and address concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Manage rent collections, delinquency, notices, and follow-up
- Prepare and review property financial reports, budgets, and expenses
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments
- Use Yardi for resident accounts, reporting, leasing, financials, and property operations
- Monitor property performance, occupancy, collections, and expenses
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure work orders and unit turns are completed on time
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee property projects
- Conduct property inspections and ensure the community is well maintained
- Hire, train, coach, and manage onsite team members
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and local regulations
- Handle resident escalations and assist with eviction processes when necessary
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for leadership/ownership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of property management experience preferred
- Multifamily property management experience strongly preferred
- Yardi experience required
- Strong understanding of leasing, collections, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Experience managing onsite teams and vendors
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of property performance
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
