Maintenance Technician for Auto Parts Manufacturer

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Production Support:
• • Perform preventative maintenance on presses and balancers.
  • Handle setup and changeovers for press and balancer equipment.
  • Make press adjustments to meet exact dimensional requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and calibrate balancing equipment.
  • Conduct machine repairs and adjustments.
  • Repair production tools such as bag sealers and staplers.
  • Service forklift batteries (watering and full changeouts). [1]
• Facility Support:
• • Change A/C filters and light fixtures/upgrades to LED.
  • Replace ceiling tiles.
  • Perform light plumbing repairs.
  • Handle small remodeling projects, including painting.
  • Manage general facility upkeep.
  • Follow safety requirements, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and chemical safety protocols. [1]

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous background in maintenance or a related industrial/manufacturing field.
• Technical Skills: Basic troubleshooting and diagnostics, basic electrical knowledge, and preventative maintenance experience.
• Tools: Ability to use basic hand and pneumatic tools.
• Education & Age: High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years old.
• Licenses & Communication: Valid driver's license, reliable own transportation, and fluency in English (Spanish language skills are a plus).
