The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, coordinating repair and maintenance activities, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Primary job duties:
· Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of equipment and facilities.
· Design and execute scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize unexpected equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan.
· Oversee and manage maintenance staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped.
· Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
· Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
· Manage maintenance budgets and resource allocation.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
· Develop and enforce maintenance policies and procedures.
· Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly.
· Collaborate with other departments to minimize disruption during maintenance activities.
Evaluate and recommend purchases of new equipment or upgrades to existing
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· 3-5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing setting.
· Experience with Plasma Tables a plus.
· Proven experience in a maintenance role, ideally within a supervisory or managerial capacity.
· Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
