We are seeking a Cleaning Specialist to join our tiny amazing unstoppable team! You will perform cleaning and sanitization activities for The Station Orenco Hotel, a locally owned upscale boutique hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning and sanitization of rooms, courtyards, and common areas per established procedures.
- Willingness to enforce and update hotel cleaning and sanitation policies.
- Display a friendly good nature with hotel guests and staff.
- Move small furniture as necessary to clean and sanitize rooms.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and laundry room in a clean sanitary condition.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English.
- Must be able to communicate with staff via SMS texting.
- With appropriate training, must be able to access and interpret hotel property management system.
- Previous experience in hotel or residential house cleaning is required.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds and navigate 2 flights of stairs. Our facility does not have an elevator.
- Strong work ethic, trustworthy, and attention to detail are highly desirable character traits.
