Envirospec is a multidiscipline consulting firm and certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) based in Albany, NY with projects located throughout the US., providing engineering, project management, and environmental compliance services to commercial and industrial clients and large consultants on state/federal projects. Because we're a small firm, our engineers don't get siloed — you'll work across air permitting, remediation system design, multi-media permitting, petroleum and chemical bulk storage, and civil design, often within the same month. That variety means faster growth, more responsibility earlier, and a real seat at the table on projects that matter.

We're looking for a motivated Environmental Engineer at any experience level — from new grads to seasoned professionals — who wants to build a broad, versatile skill set on a close-knit team.

What you'll work on:

- \n
- Conducting environmental assessments and analyses to evaluate project impacts
- Performing emissions calculations and air dispersion modeling
- Identifying permitting requirements and securing permits for construction projects
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct environmental permitting processes in coordination with regulatory agencies such as the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
- Preparing reports and documentation for permitting and remediation projects
- Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to clients and colleagues

What we're looking for:

- BS in Environmental Engineering or a related field — any level of experience welcome
- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- A team player with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Comfort managing multiple tasks and deadlines at once
- Willingness to pursue industry licenses/registrations as projects require
