Job duties
- Include rehabbing apartment homes, troubleshooting appliances and repair/replace as necessary. The position is also responsible for providing friendly customer service to clients. The position requires participating in the On-Call After Hours Rotation providing resident support of company property malfunctions/incidents (currently 7 participants results in On-Call After Hours each eight weeks for each participant).
Travel
- This position requires frequent travel to worksites. The employee must have a valid Tennessee driver license and be able to drive to work locations using company issued vehicle. Employee must have minimal driving infractions to ensure that they can be covered by the organization’s auto insurance.
Physical Demands
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with arms. The position is frequently required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The position occasionally needs to sit; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must consistently lift and/or move items over up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. From Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- This position requires the ability to work in the U.S.
