Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Officer in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to reduce security-related incidents through strong observation and communication. You will support employees and visitors with customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within a fast-paced technology-focused location, helping to support established policies and visitor management practices.
Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders as needed, helping to support orderly operations and continuity during routine activities and unexpected events.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
