We are looking for a detail-oriented Lease Administrator/Analyst 1 to support lease documentation review and financial analysis for a Contract position. This role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and focuses on interpreting lease agreements, capturing key financial terms, and helping ensure obligations are tracked accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment while maintaining strong communication with colleagues, landlords, and service partners.
Responsibilities:
• Examine lease agreements and related records to identify essential terms such as rent amounts, escalation clauses, renewal options, and other payment obligations.
• Enter and maintain lease data in designated systems with a high level of accuracy, ensuring records are current and well organized.
• Perform financial reconciliations and monthly reviews to verify charges, payment details, and budget-related information against supporting documentation.
• Support audit and quality review activities by validating lease records, preparing documentation, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate correspondence with internal teams, landlords, and external partners to clarify lease terms, document updates, and outstanding items.
• Track critical dates and contractual milestones to help ensure renewals, notices, and other time-sensitive requirements are completed on schedule.
• Assist with ad hoc financial research, reporting, and administrative tasks related to lease operations and claim or ticketing inquiries when needed.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Previous experience in commercial lease administration is preferred, ideally within a real estate-related organization.
• Working knowledge of financial reconciliation, budget review, and audit support processes.
• Ability to learn and use specialized software platforms and manage data accurately across multiple systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships.
• Capability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, accountability, and attention to critical dates.
