SODA has partnered with an AI and manufacturing technology company building software for autonomous factories. You’ll join a 23-person team where engineers own customer problems from first conversation through to shipped product.
\n
\n
For an early-career engineer, the scope is unusual: you won’t sit behind layers of product management. You’ll work with users, make product and technical decisions, and build solutions yourself.

The Opportunity

\n
You’ll join a 14 person product engineering group working alongside a 7 person AI team. You’ll get close mentorship while taking responsibility for problems that affect real manufacturing operations.
\n
\n
The stack includes TypeScript, React, Node.js and Python. What matters more is how you learn, reason through uncertainty and turn difficult problems into working products.

What You'll Do

- Own customer problems from discovery through design, engineering and delivery
- Work directly with users to understand real manufacturing challenges
- Build full-stack products using TypeScript, React, Node.js and Python
- Explore different solutions before choosing and executing an approach
- Make technical decisions without waiting for detailed specifications
- Work with experienced engineers while growing your own decision-making scope
- Balance delivery speed with thoughtful engineering and product judgement
