About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. In this position, you will be the backbone of our community, ensuring that our resident apartments, facilities, and grounds stay in top-tier shape. Core Responsibilities
- Service Requests: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve daily resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner (plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, and appliances).
- "Make-Ready" Turnovers: Prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins, including minor drywall repair, hardware replacement, and painting touch-ups.
- Community Upkeep: Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify safety or structural hazards, maintain the grounds, and assist with general facility upkeep.
- System Inspections: Check plumbing fixtures, exterior drains, locks, windows, and emergency systems to verify they are functioning correctly.
- Resident Satisfaction: Deliver outstanding customer service by treating residents courteously and communicating repairs clearly.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and remain physically active for long stretches of a shift.
- Capable of lifting and moving tools or property appliances as required.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
