- 5+ years professional Android development in Java and Kotlin
- Jetpack Compose experience required; KMP/Compose Multiplatform strongly preferred (other cross platform experience is a plus), Android-only Compose acceptable
- Proven track record shipping and maintaining apps on Google Play Store in production
- Experience on high-traffic, transactional, consumer-facing apps
- Git-based source control with branching strategies
- Strong communication skills — able to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate directly with Product/UX/Analytics/Backend teams, not just heads-down coding

Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, automated integration tests

CI/CD: Gradle + Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Harness or similar

Mobile security fundamentals: encryption, secure storage, auth

History of mentoring junior engineers / informal tech lead experience
