Project Engineer – TalentZok

Immediate opening for a Project Engineer in Baltimore, MD who possesses:
- Hands-on change order and backup experience.
- Accounting and cost-tracking skills.
- 3-6 years in PE
FULL DESCRIPTION
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing cost-tracking, budget monitoring, and evaluating changes to scope of work with full backup documentation
- Coordinating project planning, schedules, timelines, and deliverables alongside project managers and stakeholders
- Reviewing and interpreting engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Monitoring site construction progress, conducting regular inspections, and resolving technical discrepancies
- Supporting site safety protocols, identifying job site hazards, and conducting risk management reviews
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, including change orders, engineering drawings, progress reports, and meeting minutes
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Hands-on expertise in financial tracking, change order management, and accounting principles within construction
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, and collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams
Salary Range: $80,000 to $95,000/year
