Providence Real Estate is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations at our well-maintained 2211 Grand Isle apartment community in Brandon, Florida. This is a full-time leadership role for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality work, values consistency, and understands the importance of keeping a community running smoothly.
This position is well suited for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting a team, and maintaining high standards across all aspects of property maintenance.
Pay: $28 - $32 per hour, based on experience

What You'll Do
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the daily maintenance operations of the community while remaining actively involved in hands-on work. This includes supervising and supporting the maintenance team, managing service requests, and ensuring repairs are completed thoroughly and on time.
You will handle a range of responsibilities such as troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues, overseeing apartment turns, and maintaining the overall appearance of the property, including common areas and grounds. The role also involves coordinating with vendors when needed, keeping inventory and supplies organized, and ensuring that all work is completed in line with safety standards and company expectations.
Schedule
This position typically works Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays on a rotating basis. Participation in an on-call rotation is required to address after-hours emergency maintenance needs.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with prior apartment or residential maintenance experience who can step into a leadership role with confidence. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with HVAC certification.
The right candidate will bring strong troubleshooting ability, solid organizational skills, and a steady, reliable approach to their work. Experience leading or guiding others is preferred, along with the ability to work independently while keeping the broader team and property goals in mind.
