About The Role:

Assistant Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer
\n

We are searching for exceptional project management talent (APM & SPE) with industrial / manufacturing / aerospace construction experience as we expand two existing PM Teams and add a new PM Team to our Aerospace Division. You'll work on high-visibility projects for some of the largest aerospace, technology, manufacturing, and data infrastructure companies in the world: Boeing, SpaceX, the Department of Defense.

As our new APM / SPE you will lead self-perform (concrete, steel, millwright) functions, subs, and projects. You'll drive & monitor daily onsite activity and success, manage goals / timelines / budgets, build estimates / RFIs & RFPs and change orders while supporting your Client and Project Management Team.
\n
\n
You'll grow personally and professionally working alongside & learning from many of the construction industry's best. Your responsibility, authority, and accountability will increase as you advance in your construction project management career with us.

The Aerospace Division Seattle PM Teams work extensively on Boeing / DOD projects & properties, typically Monday-Friday (7am-4/5pm), maybe 1 weekend annually. Your projects are geographically focused so travel and "time away" is limited. You'll lead select projects predominantly within the Greater Seattle Area / Washington state, but at times may require travel.

What You'll Do:
\n
- \n
- Support and direct day-to-day onsite operations
- Creation of site-specific safety plan with safety focal & project team
- Assist PM with weekly construction meetings with owners and subcontractors
- Work one-on-one with superintendents to track progress in field and update schedules
- Pre-construction job setup / take off
- Managing RFI and submittal processes
- Self-perform production tracking
- Project estimating and proposal creation
- Material selection and procurement
- Cost forecasting
- Change order management
- Subcontract, purchase order, and service agreement creation and management
- Project closeout (redlines, as-builts, warrantees, etc)
- Organize and coordinate project start-up activities
- Assist with Business Development activities as required
- Maintain company ethical standards
- Use effective verbal and written communication skills
- Display mathematical ability to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Demonstrate proficiency in current company software applications
- Read and understand project estimates, schedules, job cost reports, labor productivity reports, and summary level schedules
- With regard to that portion of the work assigned, develop a complete understanding of applicable company policies and procedures and plan and execute the assigned work in accordance with those policies and procedures
- Examine/inspect office conditions and/or procedures and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost-saving measures that arise or may be encountered
- Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices and manage project action plans
- Produce quality work, meet requirements of company policies, procedures, and industry standards

To Be Successful You Should Be / Have:
\n
- \n
- YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN (U.S. DOD requirement)
- YOU MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years experience as Construction Project Engineer / Senior PE / Asst PM
- Bachelor’s in Construction / Engineering or a related field highly preferred
- Self Perform Concrete, Structural Steel, Millwright experience, preferred
- Steel / Concrete estimating experience, preferred
- Excellent interpersonal & logic-based communication skills
- Experienced directing internal teams, crews, and subs
- Strong relationship and trust-building skills
- Experience in industrial / manufacturing / civil construction, highly preferred
