What you'll own

\n

You are the technical owner of a project from early in the process through startup. You own whether the solution is right, whether the customer understands it well enough to decide, and whether the system performs once it's installed.

\n

    \n
  • Characterize the waste stream — BOD/COD, TSS, FOG, pH, flow and load profiles
  • \n

  • Size and select the treatment train, backed by mass balance and loading calculations
  • \n

  • Interpret the discharge requirements. Ensure compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications
  • \n

  • Write the technical proposal — scope, process description, performance basis
  • \n

  • Manage the customer through their technical evaluation: work out what they need in order to decide
  • \n

  • Provide support to customers and help resolve problems with installed equipment
  • \n

  • Run bench tests and pilots
  • \n

  • Create a complete design package and keep the customer in the loop on timing and site readiness
  • \n

  • Stay with the customer through commissioning, performance verification, and operator training
  • \n

  • Attend and assist in trade show events
  • \n

    • \n

    • Experience sizing and specifying treatment equipment, not only operating or maintaining it
    • \n

    • Working proficiency with AutoCAD — you can produce and revise process flow diagrams and equipment layouts yourself
    • \n

    • Analytical and highly organized, and comfortable carrying 8-12 active opportunities at different stages without dropping any of them
    • \n

    • Comfortable in a plant environment

    • \n

    \n

Travel: up to 25%, clustered around site assessments and system startups.

    \n
