Position Summary: To coordinate the use and maintain the appearance, cleanliness, functioning and security of the buildings and grounds of the entire St. Raymond Parish campus.
Primarily Reports To: Business Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt Part-Time (20 hours/week)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Safety:
· Assure the parish buildings, equipment and grounds are maintained appropriately and safely through a program of planned maintenance and asset management:
a. Perform or ensure opening (mornings) and closing (evenings) of all doors, lights on as-needed basis.
b. Weekly perform building operation safety checks including but not limited to “walk-around” inspection of buildings, outside grounds and parking lot, condition of sidewalks in bad weather, potential hazards due to broken cement, etc; being aware of seasonal needs of salt and snow removal.
c. Perform weekly operational checks of lighting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and HVAC systems of all buildings.
d. Perform weekly operational checks of appliances in Parish Center, church and rectory.
e. Help in repairs and maintenance throughout the parish facility. Perform minor repairs, including but not limited to lighting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and immediate temporary repairs in an emergency.
f. Schedule with contractors when maintenance and repair services are needed.
g. Negotiate and monitor contracted services for grounds keeping, pest control, custodial and any other maintenance-related services including the scheduling of routine and preventative maintenance.
h. Be” on-call” to support parish mission in case of emergencies, especially on weekends.
· Coordinate inspections and maintain safety notifications of:
a. Fire extinguishers.
b. “Ansul” fire suppression systems.
c. Sprinkler systems.
d. Emergency back-up lighting.
e. Elevator
· Oversee parish compliance with OSHA requirements.
· Keep storage, service, supply and machine areas cleaned and organized.
· Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies.
· Maintain updated vendor list
· Coordinate purchases of supplies with Business Manager.
Facility Rental, Scheduling, Set-up, Clean-up:
· Have facilities open and ready for regular meetings of parish groups (i.e. Bible Study, Rosary Making, Respect Life Groups, catering for new parish center starting in 2027 ...)
· Oversee security of the parish facilities including key control, facilities opening and closing and operation of the security system
· Coordinate leasing and use of parish facilities by internal and external organizations.
Miscellaneous:
· Serve as the primary interface with suppliers of computer systems and related technology as well as equipment for voice, electronic, telephone, internet and written communication.
· Provide basic technology support on as-needed basis (e.g., clear paper jams, replace toner cartridges,...).
· Assist as consultant in development of facilities, technology support, office equipment and services budgets.
· Identify and recommend opportunities for long-term maintenance contracts.
