Bilingual Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a multifamily community. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
MUST HAVE:
- EPA Certification – Required
- Bilingual English & Spanish – Required
- Previous multifamily/apartment maintenance experience
- Pool maintenance and repair experience
- Strong work order and resident service skills
- Experience with apartment make-readies/turns
- Groundskeeping and common-area maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete maintenance issues independently
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily maintenance and resident work orders
- Perform apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
- Maintain and repair community pool equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance
- Maintain grounds and common areas
- Assist with inspections and property upkeep
- Provide professional customer service to residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept community
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training. The right candidate should have strong multifamily maintenance experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and be comfortable handling a variety of maintenance needs.
EPA Certification and English/Spanish bilingual communication are REQUIRED.
