**Responsibilities:
**
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automation systems supporting plastic injection molding equipment.
- Support industrial robots through programming, setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment to maximize uptime and equipment reliability.
- Assist with automation startups, equipment changeovers, and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify root causes of automation and equipment failures and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Ensure automation systems operate in accordance with safety, quality, and production requirements.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, modifications, and system changes as required.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to improve automation performance and efficiency.
- Assist with the installation and integration of new production equipment, including robotics, injection molding machines, material handling systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:

High School Diploma required.

Technical degree or certification in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical Technology, or Automated Manufacturing Systems preferred.

Hands-on experience or training in robot programming, including 3-axis Cartesian robots, 6-axis robots such as ABB, FANUC, and KUKA, and collaborative robots such as UR.

Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems, heating circuits, servo motors, and mechanical mechanisms preferred.

Experience with plastic injection molding automation, including part removal, conveyors, vision systems, and End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT), preferred.

Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, drives, and basic HMI operation.

Ability to analyze and interpret technical documents, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical data.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively address equipment issues.

Ability to manage project schedules and develop contingency plans while working within budget requirements.

Creative and analytical approach to identifying alternative solutions and improving processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

SolidWorks experience preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
