Job Description
Position Summary:
Lead data-driven initiatives to improve quality, yield, productivity, throughput, and cost across manufacturing operations. Work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Lean/continuous improvement projects and Kaizen activities.
- Analyze production data, scrap, rework, downtime, and cycle time.
- Perform root cause analysis using 5 Whys, 8D, Pareto, and Fishbone.
- Improve processes, workflow, yield, and production efficiency.
- Develop standard work, process controls, and performance metrics.
- Support 5S, value-stream mapping, waste reduction, and process optimization.
- Train teams on Lean tools and problem-solving methods.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2–3+ years of continuous improvement, manufacturing, quality, or process engineering experience.
- Strong Lean/Six Sigma and root-cause analysis knowledge.
- Experience with SPC, PFMEA, control plans, and corrective action.
- Strong Excel/data analysis skills; Power BI or ERP/MES experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience required; process-intensive manufacturing preferred.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
