Salary up to $80,000 a year. Full-time, direct hire, salaried maintenance supervisor on 2nd shift at a large manufacturing plant in the Mansfield area.
Second shift runs about 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, plus a 30 minute handoff. Fridays are required, overtime is available now, and some weekends come up.
This is a true shift supervisor, close to a team lead. A maintenance manager runs the department. You lead the maintenance techs on your shift and still do hands-on maintenance when it is needed.
The floor runs in pods of machines, many custom-built for this plant, so no two are alike. Engineering and controls teams on site back up the maintenance crew.
The work:
- Lead and assign the 2nd shift maintenance techs
- Jump in on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Keep safety rules and equipment tracking up to OSHA standards
- Track schedules, time and shift inventory in the ERP or MRP system
You need:
- Hands-on industrial maintenance experience, electrical and mechanical
- Experience as a maintenance supervisor, foreman or shift lead
- Comfortable with OSHA safety rules and an ERP or MRP system
- Pass a background check and a drug screen
- Authorized to work in the US. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Live within about an hour of Mansfield. Relocation is not offered.
No degree required. Experience is what counts.
