Position Details:

  • Location: Columbus, OH (Fully Onsite)
  • Schedule: 2nd Shift | Tuesday–Saturday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST
  • Duration: Through January 6, 2027
  • Pay Rate: $28/hour


What You'll Do

  • Monitor enterprise applications and infrastructure using industry-standard monitoring tools
  • Investigate alerts and perform initial incident analysis
  • Escalate incidents following ITIL incident management processes
  • Support major incident management and change enablement activities
  • Document incidents, actions taken, and status updates in ServiceNow
  • Communicate technical issues, risks, and system status to both technical and executive stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to improve monitoring and operational processes
  • Assist with creating runbooks and identifying process improvement opportunities


Top Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in a NOC, SOC, IT Operations, or similar environment
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, and enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Dynatrace
  • Working knowledge of ITIL (Incident & Change Management)
  • Experience with eyes-on-glass monitoring using multiple monitoring platforms simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide executive-level status updates
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure operational environment


Nice to Have:

  • ITIL v4 Foundation or CCNA certification
  • Experience with Azure, creating Splunk dashboards, or scripting (Python/PowerShell)
