Position Details:
- Location: Columbus, OH (Fully Onsite)
- Schedule: 2nd Shift | Tuesday–Saturday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST
- Duration: Through January 6, 2027
- Pay Rate: $28/hour
What You'll Do
- Monitor enterprise applications and infrastructure using industry-standard monitoring tools
- Investigate alerts and perform initial incident analysis
- Escalate incidents following ITIL incident management processes
- Support major incident management and change enablement activities
- Document incidents, actions taken, and status updates in ServiceNow
- Communicate technical issues, risks, and system status to both technical and executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to improve monitoring and operational processes
- Assist with creating runbooks and identifying process improvement opportunities
Top Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a NOC, SOC, IT Operations, or similar environment
- Experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, and enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Dynatrace
- Working knowledge of ITIL (Incident & Change Management)
- Experience with eyes-on-glass monitoring using multiple monitoring platforms simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide executive-level status updates
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure operational environment
Nice to Have:
- ITIL v4 Foundation or CCNA certification
- Experience with Azure, creating Splunk dashboards, or scripting (Python/PowerShell)
