We’re Hiring: Help Desk Technician II

\n


\n

ELDR is looking for an experienced Help Desk Technician II to support our senior housing customers and internal technical teams.

\n

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on technical support experience who can troubleshoot customer issues, support escalations, coordinate with field technicians, and help maintain reliable technology systems for healthcare and senior living environments.

\n

Location: Twin Cities / St. Paul, MN area

\n

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

\n

Position Type: Full-Time

\n

Pay Range: $25–$35/hour, based on experience and skill level

\n


\n

What you’ll be doing:

\n


\n

• Provide Tier 2 technical support for customer technology issues

\n

• Troubleshoot escalated tickets involving Microsoft 365, phones, Wi-Fi, networks, cameras, access control, nurse call, wander management, voice systems, and related technologies

\n

• Support remote troubleshooting with customers and field technicians

\n

• Review ticket notes, identify next steps, and help drive issues to resolution

\n

• Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, engineers, and project teams when needed

\n

• Assist with user accounts, device setup, password resets, permissions, and basic system administration

\n

• Help document common fixes, support procedures, and escalation steps

\n

• Communicate professionally with senior housing staff, administrators, and internal team members

\n

• Ensure service tickets are updated accurately and closed out properly

\n


\n

What we’re looking for:

\n

• 2+ years of help desk, desktop support, IT support, low voltage support, or similar technical experience

\n

• Strong troubleshooting skills across computers, networks, phones, cloud systems, and connected devices

\n

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows devices, basic networking, and remote support tools

\n

• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally

\n

• Strong documentation and ticket management skills

\n

• Ability to prioritize support requests and manage multiple open issues

\n

• Customer-focused mindset and professional phone/email communication

\n

• Experience with senior housing, healthcare technology, nurse call, access control, CCTV, VoIP, or Wi-Fi systems is a plus
