About the Role
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairing and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of our facility. You will work closely with our facilities team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work

Repair and maintain equipment, such as medical devices and office machinery

Ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility, including but not limited to, restocking supplies, disposing of trash, and performing minor repairs

Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the facilities team

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repair activities

Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
