Job description:
LIVIT Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of our automated manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, experience with mechanical and electrical systems, and can work independently with minimal supervision. We want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment on an as-needed basis.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain building facilities and grounds.
- Assist in special projects including equipment installation, relocation, or upgrades.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and LOCK-OUT/TAG-OUT protocols.
- Utilize the electronic Maintenance Program (Asset Essentials) for tracking and reporting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas and shop.
- Support plant-wide Safety, Quality, Lean, and Inventory initiatives.
- Participate in departmental Lean projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Adapt to changes in plant operations, procedures, and project demands.
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of industrial equipment.
- Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions down to 1/16".
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with attention to detail.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on feet most of the workday.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Forklift certification is helpful but not required.

Schedule
- 2nd shift Monday Through Thursday 1pm-11:30pm
