Data Ingestion & Local Transport: Retrieve physical data media from Chicago operational sites and manage large-scale data uploads using the 100G ingest rack.

Systems Administration & Remote Support: Maintain and troubleshoot local Linux servers, network hardware, and act as "smart hands" for remote engineering teams.
\n
Logistics & Asset Management: Handle site shipping/receiving (FedEx, UPS, freight), maintain accurate inventory logs, and execute operational SOPs.
\n

Required Skills:
\n
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on Linux systems administration or IT field support, including command-line proficiency (Bash, SSH, systemd).
\n
Location & Mobility: Based in the greater Chicago area for daily on-site reporting, with a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for local drive retrievals.
\n
Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move server equipment and drive enclosures weighing up to 50 lbs.
\n
\n
Desired Skills:
\n
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
\n
High-Speed Networking & Out-of-Band Management: Familiarity with 100GbE interfaces and BMC/IPMI protocols.
\n
Hardware Storage Configuration: Experience with RAID array setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
