Job DescriptionUAT / QA Analyst – Credit Union Technology
Part-Time or Full-Time | Remote or Onsite | Employee or Contract
CV Resources is partnering with a financial services organization to identify a UAT / QA resource to support application development and testing for its core technology platform.
This is a flexible opportunity that could be a great fit for someone with User Acceptance Testing, QA, application support, or business systems experience. Experience working in a credit union or banking environment is highly preferred.
What You'll Do
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for application enhancements, releases, and system changes
- Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements
- Validate system functionality from an end-user/business perspective
- Identify, document, and communicate defects or unexpected results
- Work with technical and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Retest fixes and confirm functionality prior to release
- Help ensure system changes meet business requirements and user expectations
- Support documentation of testing results, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with QA, Customer Support, and application development teams
- Assist with other application support and testing activities as needed
What We're Looking For
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing, QA, application testing, business analysis, or application support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and inconsistencies
- Comfortable creating and executing test scenarios
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clearly document issues and communicate with both technical and non-technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel
Preferred Experience
- Credit union or banking experience
- Experience with core banking/financial applications
- Experience supporting software implementations, upgrades, or system enhancements
- Experience working with QA or software development teams
- Experience in a customer support or application support environment
