We are seeking an IT Assistant to provide operational support for our technology department. This role is responsible for the daily technical health of our fleet, focusing on hardware deployment, asset tracking, and standardizing documentation across our locations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, highly reliable, and comfortable pitching in wherever the team needs help.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Fleet Management: Configure, image, and deploy workstations, monitors, and peripherals.
• Hardware Support: Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware issues (printers, cabling, connectivity) in the office and remotely.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of all company technology assets and hardware status across regional locations.
• Process Compliance: Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data backups, credential migration, and security protocols.
• Documentation: Maintain clear, concise logs of all technical issues and resolutions.
• Operational Support: Assist staff with account setup, access requests, and basic software troubleshooting.
• Team Support: Act as a team player with a ‘no task is too small’ attitude — willing to assist with general office and field operational needs as they arise, beyond core IT duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science OR equivalent combination of relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) and experience.
• Reliability: Proven ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks with high attention to detail.
• Technical Basics: Solid understanding of Windows hardware, software installation, and printer connectivity.
• Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to document processes effectively.
• Work Ethic: Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and adhere to company security policies.
