  • Support CAD-to-production workflows using Siemens NX or equivalent CAD CAM tools.
  • Develop routings, toolpaths, fixtures, and build definitions to support scalable production.
  • Maintain configuration control and digital traceability across deployed systems.
  • Support development and standardization of manufacturing methods for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
  • Contribute to improvements in system repeatability, throughput, and first-pass yield.
  • Author SOPs, training materials, and acceptance criteria; support NCR and root-cause analysis efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and serve as a technical resource for junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, applications, or systems engineering.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing deployments or technical installations in production environments.
  • Proficiency with CAD CAM software such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot cross-disciplinary technical issues in a hands-on environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siemens NX or formal CAD CAM certification.
  • Wiring harness or cable assembly design or manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter or other PLM or PDM systems.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic systems, CNC equipment, or PLC-controlled automation.
  • Knowledge of IPC WHMA A 620 standards.
  • Understanding of connectors, shielding, and electrical testing methodologies.
  • Background in defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
