Job DescriptionSalary: $70,000

Position Summary
Peralta Associates & Defense is seeking a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee security personnel, ensure compliance with company policies, maintain operational standards, and support the ongoing development of security officers. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for conducting site inspections, onboarding and training new officers, delivering monthly safety training, maintaining documentation, and ensuring all personnel meet company and client expectations. The role combines leadership, training, quality assurance, and field support responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities
Personnel Supervision & Leadership

  • Supervise and support security officers assigned to client sites.
  • Promote professionalism, accountability, and adherence to company policies.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and corrective instruction when necessary.
  • Address performance concerns and document deficiencies appropriately.


Site Inspections & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct routine site visits and inspections.
  • Verify uniform compliance, professional appearance, grooming standards, and proper display of identification and equipment.
  • Ensure officers are properly equipped and following site-specific requirements.
  • Document deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions and replacement equipment when necessary.
  • Submit inspection reports and related documentation within required timeframes.


New Hire Training & Onboarding

  • Conduct site-specific orientation and training for newly assigned officers.
  • Complete and review On-the-Job Training (OJT) Checklists with all new personnel.
  • Ensure officers understand post orders, emergency procedures, reporting requirements, and client-specific instructions.
  • Verify all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and submitted to Human Resources within established deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new officer training and development.


Safety Training & Compliance

  • Conduct and document monthly safety training sessions for assigned personnel.
  • Deliver training on topics such as situational awareness, de-escalation techniques, communication safety, use-of-force awareness, PPE usage, medical readiness, patrol safety, and report writing.
  • Encourage officer participation, discussion, and practical application of training concepts.
  • Maintain attendance records and submit required training documentation to management.


Documentation & Reporting

  • Complete and maintain inspection reports, counseling forms, training logs, and onboarding records.
  • Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and professionally prepared.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized records and submit documentation according to company procedures.


Qualifications

  • MUST have previous law enforcement or military supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to conduct inspections, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Excellent report-writing and documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations or assignments.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in fast-paced environments.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience conducting employee training and onboarding.
  • Knowledge of security operations, emergency procedures, and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with compliance documentation and incident reporting.
  • Ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.
