- Pay Rate: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Overview
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished copper wire products. You will utilize various testing equipment to verify physical, mechanical, and electrical properties, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional and physical inspections on copper wire products using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical testing such as tensile strength, elongation, and conductivity tests.
- Document and record test results accurately in the quality management system.
- Identify and isolate non-conforming materials, issuing hold notices and assisting in root-cause analysis.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues on the floor immediately.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in wire, cable, extrusion, or metallurgy is highly preferred).
- Skills: Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) and reading technical blueprints/schematics.
- Pre-Employment: Must be willing to submit to background check and drug screening.
- Shift Flexibility: Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule (either 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical certifications (like ASQ CQT) are a plus.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
