Door & Bell Attendant

The Northport Hotel is seeking a professional and reliable Door & Bell Attendant to join our Front Office team. This role supports both our luxury boutique hotel and upscale restaurant and is often the first and last impression guests have when arriving or departing.

This position includes valet parking, but it is not just a valet role. The Door & Bell Attendant is responsible for greeting guests, opening doors, assisting with luggage, safely parking vehicles, and helping maintain a polished and welcoming front entrance.

We are looking for someone dependable, well-spoken, mature, and comfortable working in a guest-facing luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they arrive and depart the hotel and restaurant.
• Open doors and create a welcoming first impression.
• Assist guests with luggage and personal belongings.
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles.
• Maintain proper key control and accurate vehicle records.
• Keep the valet area, front entrance, and lobby approach clean and organized.
• Communicate clearly with the Front Desk, Management, and other hotel departments.
• Assist with guest deliveries, packages, and special requests when needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.

Qualifications:

• Prior hotel, valet, bell attendant, door attendant, or guest service experience preferred.
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record required.
• Must be comfortable safely driving and parking guest vehicles.
• Must have morning and weekend availability.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills required.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift luggage as needed.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay is based on experience. This is a tipped position with frequent opportunities to earn tips.
