What You’ll Do

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on residential and commercial HVAC systems
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues
Inspect equipment and identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components
Determine the most effective repair or service solution
Complete heating and air conditioning repairs safely, efficiently, and according to company standards
Test systems to confirm proper operation and performance
Explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers
Provide honest, professional service while building customer trust
Identify opportunities for system improvements, replacements, or energy-efficient solutions when appropriate
Complete accurate job notes, including findings, parts used, and work performed
Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle, tools, and jobsite
Respond promptly to scheduled service calls and manage time effectively
Follow all safety procedures, applicable codes, and manufacturer specifications
Work collaboratively with teammates and support the company’s service standards
Treat customers, coworkers, and company property with care and respect

What You’ll Bring

Hands-on experience servicing and repairing residential HVAC systems
Strong knowledge of heating, cooling, electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and determine the appropriate repair solution
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical information
Strong customer service and communication skills
Professional appearance and respect for customers’ homes and businesses
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
A safety-first mindset and attention to detail
Physical ability to lift equipment, work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions
Willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills

Qualifications

2-3 years HVAC service and repair experience required

EPA certification
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Applicable HVAC licenses or certifications required by Alabama regulations
Experience with residential and commercial HVAC equipment is a plus
Generator, plumbing, or indoor air quality experience is a plus
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
