What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the location.
- Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by reporting equipment issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with post orders and security-related procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
