Maintenance Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Maintenance Director to join our team at Avir at Heritage in San Antonio, Texas. As a key member of our leadership team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our property, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, including scheduling and supervising maintenance staff

Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and quality of work

Manage and maintain all aspects of property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, including OSHA guidelines

Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall resident satisfaction

Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment and building systems

Budget and manage maintenance expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions while meeting quality and safety standards
Requirements:

3+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting

Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, construction) preferred
